Submit New “Books By Classmates”

UPDATE: 9/30.  We just broke the 100 book mark.  See below about how to add YOUR book to the Class of 1969 Library!

According to the Class Survey, 49 percent of us have published a book or an article in a scholarly journal. Nineteen percent have published regularly in either print or electronic media.  Wow! We are a prolific bunch.

At the Class of ’68 Reunion, there was a display in the nave of Sterling Library, showing books written by members from the Class of 1968.  It might be cool if we do the same.

So, to showcase our work, Yale1969.org is launching Books By Classmates, a searchable and sortable library showing ALL the books we’ve authored or edited.  Check it out!  (Seriously, go look now.  Click on a book and scroll down within the window that pops up for full information.)

It’s Not Done!  Submit YOUR Books

To show you the format and functions, we researched and uploaded the 33 titles we could find from just four of our Classmates:  Richard Breitman, Michael Medved, Reed Hundt and Jim Sleeper.   Now we need and want to add ALL the books written by ALL Classmates.  So, PLEASE:

Send us information about YOUR books by using the contact form or emailing support@Yale1969.org.   Send only the ISBN or ASIN number OR links to the books on any website.

We have a program that can use that information to search the web and create the entry in the “Books By Classmates” Library.

Access to the library will always be available in the navigation menu at the top of all pages (picture) — under “Classmates.”  I plan to promote it in the right sidebar, too.

Last, use the search and sort box at the top to narrow what you want to look for.
