From Legacy.com: Mr. Hutchinson was a US Navy veteran during the Vietnam Era. Before his retirement, he was a staff accountant with the Greater Bridgeport Transit Authority for over 30 years. He was active in the Nutmeg Stamp Club, the Stratford Historical Society and the Connecticut Postcard Club. He also served on the board of the Stratford Library Association and C.A.R.E (Citizens Addressing Racial Equity) Action Team. In addition to Pamela, his wife of 35 years, survivors include a daughter, Elizabeth Ann Hutchinson of Portland, Oregon, and a brother, James Andrew Hutchinson of Springfield, Virginia. He also leaves behind his very close friends Bob and Fran Randolph of Gaithersburg, Maryland.
